Great Hill Horticultural Foundation is offering a summer internship opportunity to a qualified individual seeking work experience and hands on training in nursery stock management and horticulture. Applicants must have completed related course work or have acquired practical experience in horticulture or a related field and must be competent in the use of landscape equipment, have an interest in plants, and the ability to work independently. Intern will work primarily in our fields helping to transplant trees and shrubs, manage pests, and gain further knowledge of the management of field-grown plant materials. Opportunities exist to work on current foundation research projects gathering data, photographing, and reporting results. College credit may be arranged by the student and is encouraged.
